(co-sponsored by Friends of the Mount Pleasant Library)
Open mic discussion on when and how to embed historical events into your story. $5. fee to cover supplies; FREE for students. Pre-registration is encouraged.
Sunday, October 27 at 2:30 p.m. - "North Carolina Murder and Mayhem"
Author Richard Jackson will be here to share stories from his new book. Copies of the book will be available to purchase ($20 cash or check) and have signed by the author.
Thursday, October 31 from 5:30 to 8:00 - Trick or Treat at the Museum
Children are invited to knock on doors through the museum to get treats.
Sunday, November 10 at 2:30 p.m. - Quilts of Valor Presentation
Local veterans will be honored by this organization which covers service members and veterans touched by war with a comforting and healing quilt. FREE
Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 - Christmas Open House
Guided tours of the ECHS Museum are available ($3.00; members free).
Tours at times the facility is not open may be arranged if personnel are available.
